Who are we?
Goldman Property Finance Ltd, registered in England and Wales Company No. 07458453, are Commercial Finance Brokers at 8 Hanover Gardens, Salford, M7 4FQ, T: 0161 661 1141. We act as an introducer to banks, finance houses or any other third-party provider of finance for our customers.
How we will use the information about you?
Here at Goldman Property Finance Ltd we take your privacy seriously and we may use your personal information in a number of ways;
- To introduce you directly or indirectly to lenders, and enable lenders to make decisions, and to provide financial services.
- For fraud prevention.

- Credit reference checks.
- Use it to engage in marketing and business development activity in relation to our financial services. This may include sending you newsletters, updates, marketing communications and other information that may be of interest to you.

- Use it to establish, exercise or defend our legal rights or for the purpose of legal proceedings.

What we need:
Goldman Property Finance Ltd will be what’s known as the ‘controller’ and the ‘Processer’ of the personal data you provide to us. We collect personal data about you which may also include any special types of information or location-based information.
We also gather:
Name, address, email, dependents, financial status and financial information.
Individuals you have financial links with:
We may also collect personal information about other individuals who you have a financial link with. This may include people who you have joint accounts or policies with such as your partner/spouse, dependents, beneficiaries, guarantors or people you have commercial links to, for example beneficial owners, directors, shareholders, employees and officers of your company. You must show this policy to any other applicants (including all beneficial owners and directors, guarantors or people you have commercial links to) and ensure they know you will share their personal data with us for the purposes described in it.
Grounds for using your Personal Information:
We rely on the following legal grounds to process your personal information, namely:
Performance of a contract – we may need to collect and use your personal information to enter into a contract with you or to perform our obligations under a contract with you.

What we do with it:
Automated Decision Making: Goldman Property Finance Ltd will pass your data captured to brokers/lenders/funders/banks whom may use automated decision-making in respect of your application for finance. We will only collect the minimum amount of data needed and have a clear retention policy for the profiles we create.
You have the right not to be subject to a decision based solely on automated processing, including profiling, which produces legal effects concerning you or any significant affects. You can request human intervention and challenge a decision made this way by contacting Goldman Property Finance Ltd.
All the personal data we use is controlled by Goldman Property Finance Ltd in the UK, however, for the purposes of IT hosting and maintenance, this information is located on servers within the European Union. No 3rd parties have access to your personal data unless the law allows them to do so. We have a Data Protection regime in place to oversee the effective and secure processing of your personal data.
As introducers we may pass your data to lenders, other mortgage brokers, mortgage packagers, credit reference agencies and third parties relevant to the financial services that we provide.
How long we keep it:
How long we hold personal data for will vary and will depend principally on the purpose for which we are using the personal data – we will need to keep the data for as long as is necessary for the relevant purpose, or we are required to hold it for legal or regulatory reasons. After which time it will be destroyed.
Please note that if your personal information is shared with third parties (as detailed above) they may have different retention policies.
The information used for marketing will be kept with us until you notify us that you no longer wish to receive this information.
What are your rights?
If at any point you believe retained information is incorrect you can request to see this information and even have it corrected and possibly deleted. Providing you this information is free of charge, but charges may apply for excessive requests.
If you wish to raise a complaint on how we have handled your personal data, you can contact our Data Protection Officer who will investigate the matter.
Where relevant, you have the right to withdraw consent at any time and this means that we cannot process your data provided without your convent.
